The fire broke out in an area hospital’s Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) in Maharashtra’s Bhandara district, Doordarshan stated in a tweet on its verified Twitter account. Firefighters rescued seven different babies from the unit.
“The investigations are going on,” Tope stated, including that $6,813 (5 lakh Indian rupees) can be paid in compensation to every of the households affected. The state may also bear funeral and counseling prices.
